The Ohio MFT Network seeks to build on already existing informal networks across the state. These current networks exist between co-workers, supervisors, students and facebook groups that have developed alongside the OAMFT. Rather than focusing on statewide events, we seek to develop three core networks – Cleveland/Akron; Columbus; Cincinnati/Dayton. While the potential remains for a statewide conference at some point, it appears members will be better served with smaller events and more frequent contact in their local areas. Examples include development of supervision groups, peer support groups, job and internship linking systems, as well as student welcome events designed to integrate new professionals into the field.
