JMFT's 2018 “Article of the Year” goes to authors Robb E. Clawson, Stephanie Y. Davis, Richard B. Miller, and Tabitha N. Webster (2018) for their article, The Case for Insurance Reimbursement of Couples Therapy. One of the committee members noted that this article “reads well with both academically and clinically oriented audiences.” Another indicated “This article addresses a critically important topic for our profession. The authors provide a strong rationale for advocating for expanded reimbursement, and their work can be used immediately to advocate to insurers.”
