Practice Description
My goal as a supervisor is to help you feel confident, grounded, and supported as you develop your clinical skills and professional identity. I balance directive guidance with collaboration, tailoring our work to your unique strengths, growth areas, and evolving clinical voice. I take a systemic and relational approach to supervision and prioritize open, direct communication to foster a productive and supportive supervisory relationship. My clinical background includes work in private practice, community mental health, and medical settings, including at Hasbro Children's Hospital, which allows me to support supervisees navigating a range of client presentations and levels of acuity. I am currently in private practice and teach and provide supervision in the Couple and Family Therapy master’s program at the University of Rhode Island, where I work closely with developing clinicians as they refine systemic case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, and integration of theory into practice. My aim is to create a supervision space that is both challenging and affirming, helping you think critically, strengthen your clinical judgment, and grow into a competent and self-assured marriage and family therapist.
