EVENT DETAILS: On May 20, 2013, Diane Gehart, PhD and Tracy Todd, PhD, attended training on the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Conference (APA). As a result, AAMFT is hosting a webinar, during which Diane and Tracy will share substantive changes in the DSM-5 as well as the impact on clinical and research settings. This webinar will offer 1.5 CEs. The cost is $50 for Members and $60 for Non Members. Space is limited so register today!

The APA DSM-5 training included designated sessions dedicated to most of the DSM-5 diagnostic categories, which reviewed the changes within each chapter. There were also several sessions which discussed broader issues related to changes made across the manual as a whole, including a symposium on the assessment of symptom severity and disability in DSM-5.

MFTs participated in this research in the highest measure evidenced to date!  AAMFT is proud of its members participation in the DSM-5 research!  Join us on July 19th and learn more about the changes and how they will affect your work.
