The APA DSM-5 training included designated sessions dedicated to most of the DSM-5 diagnostic categories, which reviewed the changes within each chapter. There were also several sessions which discussed broader issues related to changes made across the manual as a whole, including a symposium on the assessment of symptom severity and disability in DSM-5.
MFTs participated in this research in the highest measure evidenced to date! AAMFT is proud of its members participation in the DSM-5 research! Join us on July 19th and learn more about the changes and how they will affect your work.
