2017 AAMFT Annual Conference Call for Abstracts

The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy is now accepting abstract submissions for the 2017 Annual Conference, October 5 - 8 in Atlanta, Georgia.

AAMFT is seeking presenters for the 2017 Annual Conference (#AAMFT17) that help attendees become ambassadors for AAMFT and the profession. Abstracts will be selected, regardless of topic, that have a component of the presentation emphasizing how attendees can advance our vibrant profession. This advancement may be through policy and advocacy work, advertising, social media, blogging, or any form of communication in that functions as an ambassadorship for the profession. For example, a presentation on collaborative family health could describe how MFTs can integrate and advocate for the profession among the medical community. Our goal is to help attendees better understand how they can integrate the advanced clinical training the conference provides with the goal we all have to promote the immeasurable benefits of marriage and family therapy.

The deadline for abstract submissions is November 15, 2016. Extensions will not be given. If you have questions concerning submitting an abstract or becoming a reviewer please contact Melanie Moore at 703-253-0499 or mmoore@aamft.org. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in Atlanta!
