Request for Proposal: Simulation

AAMFT has released three request for proposals (RFPs) related to the next phases of simulation program development that you may be interested in being a part of! Questions about any of the RFPs can be directed to

Enhancing our University Training Program

In 2019, AAMFT launched our mixed reality simulation program. Designed as a learner-focused way to enhance clinical skill development without the risk of doing harm to real clients, the simulation program has been tested and enhanced with usage at over 20 university programs.

Working with Licensed Professionals

AAMFT is interested in expanding the usage of simulation training with licensed professionals related to continued skill development and enhancement. One of the ways AAMFT is interested in exploring this is developing new types of intensive trainings such as workshops, seminars, and certification programs that focus on deep skill and technique development in specialty areas for licensed clinicians.

AAMFT is seeking proposals from licensed marriage and family therapists and other mental health professionals who are interested in working with AAMFT to develop new training modalities that at least in part incorporate mixed reality simulation as part of the learning experience.
