Panama City
Beach is easily accessible by two airports. The Panama City –
Bay County International (PFN) airport is less than 10 miles
from Edgewater Beach Resort on Florida’s Gulf Coast. And if
you’re flying into the Ft. Walton Beach Airport (VPS), it will
take you about an hour to arrive at the Edgewater Beach Resort
in Panama City Beach.

Edgewater
Beach Resort does offer airport pick up service to and from
the airport. The service cost is $20 per person, each way and
does include tax. Call (850) 235-4044 to set up.
Driving
Directions
From Panama City Airport: Upon leaving the Panama City
Airport, go south on Airport Road to Highway 390. Turn right
onto Highway 390 and travel to West 23rd Street.
Take a right onto 23rd Street, which will
dead end into Highway 98. Turn right onto Highway 98,
heading West. Cross the Hathaway Bridge and go through two
stoplights. At the third light, veer right at the fork (still
Highway 98, also known as Back Beach Road). Pass the Hombre
Golf Club on the left. Turn left onto Beckrich Road. Straight
ahead you will enter into the resort. Check in at the
Information Center, adjacent to Burger King.
From Ft Walton Beach Airport (VPS):
Make a right onto Lewis Turner Boulevard and follow this
for about 2 ½ miles, then continue on North Beal Parkway for
about 5 miles. You will then make a left onto Miracle Strip
Parkway SE and in about 2 miles, get onto US 98 East ( stay on
US 98 E for approximately 37 miles). As you approach Panama
City Beach you will see 2 green signs, take 98 East, NOT the
Alternate Scenic Route. Stay to the left and continue on for
approximately 10 miles, then turn right at Beckrich Road.
Enter at the Information Center parking lot, adjacent to
Burger King.
From Orlando: Take 75 North to
I-10. Take I-10 West to Highway 231 and turn left onto Highway
231. Stay on Highway 231 for approximately 1 hour. When
approaching Panama City Beach, look for 23rd Street. Turn
right onto 23rd Street, which will dead end into
Highway 98. From here, follow directions above, from Panama
City Airport.
