The AAMFT Annual Conference
Marriage: Relational and Societal Perspectives
Atlanta, GA  t  September 23 - 26, 2010

Atlanta, Georgia
Big City, Southern Hospitality

Discover what happens behind the scenes at the CNN headquarters! Learn more about Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement or sit back and enjoy one of Atlanta’s greatest attributes, Southern hospitality.

Georgia’s state capital offers entertainment for arts enthusiasts, sports fanatics, history buffs, food connoisseurs, shop-aholics, nature lovers, and those who love it all. So many choices in such a large city may seem over-whelming, so the city created the Atlanta Ambassador Force, a full-time private hospitality and public safety force that patrols a 200-block area.  The friendly and helpful team assists visitors and locals with directions, offer medical assistance, and serve as escorts for those who have to walk alone.

With the many attractions Atlanta has to offer, you may want to arrive in Atlanta a few days earlier, or stay a few days after the conference is over.  Discover the area’s most popular attractions and find your own personal favorites:

The Ivan Allen Jr. Braves Museum and Hall of Fame
Tour the Ivan Allen Jr. Braves Museum and Hall of Fame (BMHF), which features more than 500 Braves artifacts that trace the team's history.
