Subject: Message regarding transition

Hello, Kai.

Thank you for your previous messages.

As we continue moving forward with transitioning to a new chartered division in Hawaii, AAMFT wants to diminish the confusion that members are clearly expressing (as sent to the AAMFT office) about emails received from multiple parties, including HAMFT.

AAMFT has begun the process of establishing an entirely new chartered corporation in Hawaii. Therefore, there will be no need to transfer information about assets, materials of HAMFT, or information and materials about the HAMFT PAC. Further, there is no reason for communications to occur from HAMFT to members as the business of the HAMFT- as a division of AAMFT- is concluded.

The original purpose of our communications was to focus on matters related to transferring assets, information and materials. However, since AAMFT is concentrating on forming a new chartered corporation in Hawaii, our communications are no longer about such matters. On or before May 31st, AAMFT expects the HAMFT to cease using any AAMFT logos, banners, trademarks, or any similar items that indicate an affiliation with AAMFT. By May 31st, the HAMFT must not make any references in any of its communications that the HAMFT is affiliated in any way with AAMFT. The current HAMFT must also work with AAMFT to change its name, as well as the HAMFT-PAC name, so that the HAMFT and HAMFT-PAC corporate names do not lead individuals in Hawaii to believe that the current HAMFT and its PAC are affiliated with AAMFT. I can work with you this month regarding these transitional issues.

AAMFT wishes you and the HAMFT well in your future endeavors. Thanks.

Roger
