Focus Group on International Recognition

Over the past few years, AAMFT and the AAMFT Foundation have been receiving requests from international programs for a recognition process. A number of programs have inquired if COAMFTE accredits or grants an equivalency credential to programs outside of US and Canada. In response to these inquiries, AAMFT and the AAMFT Foundation are partnering to explore quality assurance and recognition of international academic and training programs.  We are seeking qualified applicants to participate in a focus group on recognition of international academic and training programs over the next few months.

If you are interested in doing the focus group and contributing your knowledge and expertise with international academic/training institutions and organizations around issues of marriage and family/systemic therapy, please complete the short survey here and tell us about your experience in this area.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact aamft_foundation@aamft.org.
