Our magazine is produced in four-color format.
A black-and-white composite proof at 100% size should be provided
with all ads. If your ad contains four-color scanned images or builds of
two or more colors, provide a high-end digital color proof (Iris,
Approval, Polaproof, etc.).
Display Ad Specifications:
Camera-ready advertisements must be submitted to exact dimensions detailed.

Bleed ads are fine.
High Quality (600+ dpi) black/white positive print or film negative preferred (right-reading, emulsion side down).
- High-resolution images from stock-photo disks should be
converted to CMYK TIFFs and then placed directly into the document.

Tints and color type in a four-color advertisement must be
produced in a CMYK equivalent. Please NO RGB FILES, as these files will
print in black only.
If you have made an EPS file for your ad, please supply it as
well as your original application files in case the EPS file does not
image correctly or if a modification is necessary.
Disks will not be returned.
Not acceptable: Native application files: these include PageMaker, Illustrator, Freehand, Corel, Photoshop, and all Microsoft software, Faxes.
Ads will not have language that instructs the reader to tear off or clip out a portion of the page and mail it in.
By submitting advertising for inclusion in Family Therapy Magazine,
the advertiser or agency agrees to be bound by the terms hereof. No
conditions other than those set forth herein shall be binding on AAMFT
unless specifically agreed to in writing by AAMFT. This document
supersedes all terms and conditions on AAMFT rate cards, and any
previous agreements between AAMFT and advertiser or agency relating to
the subject matter set forth herein. AAMFT’s only obligation to publish
advertisements hereunder shall be to serve advertisements of the
advertiser described herein, and in no event shall AAMFT be obligated to
serve advertisements for any other advertiser. AAMFT will not be bound
by conditions printed or appearing on order blanks or copy instructions
submitted by or on behalf of the advertiser or agency. Acceptance of
advertising for Family Therapy Magazine should not be construed as any
type of endorsement by AAMFT, or any of its members or accredited
standards developers or third-party organizations (unless otherwise
noted), of the advertisement, the advertiser or the advertiser’s
organization, system, product or service. AAMFT, its members or
accredited standards developers or third-party organization expressly
disavow any such implied endorsement. The advertiser understands that
permission to advertise in Family Therapy Magazine shall not in itself
be used to market or promote the advertiser or the advertiser’s
organization, product, system or service.
The AAMFT reserves the right to reject or cancel advertising in its
publications for any reason at any time. The AAMFT complies with the
provisions of applicable federal laws prohibiting discrimination. The
AAMFT will not accept advertising that appears to be libelous,
slanderous, or in conflict with the AAMFT policies. Advertisers and
advertising agencies assume liability for all content of advertisements
printed, and also assume liability for any claims resulting from
advertisements against the publisher.
Publisher is not liable for print quality of advertisements not arriving to spec.
All ads must be PREPAID by the 1st of the month prior to
publication. Checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or money orders
are all acceptable forms of payment (US currency). Payment for any
additional costs incurred by AAMFT must be paid 15 days from the invoice
date. AAMFT reserves the right to refuse any new order from delinquent
agencies or advertisers.
Payment is due by material deadline. Publisher reserves the right
to refuse or reject any advertising that is not prepaid after the
Cancellations or changes must be made two weeks prior to the closing date of issue.
Rates are subject to change without notification.
All new ads, ad cancellations, corrections, and instructions to rerun a previous advertisement must be emailed to email@example.com .
