Help Spread the Word about the Benefits of Marriage and Family Therapy

Marriage and family therapy is often confused with other behavioral healthcare disciplines. One of AAMFT’s goals is to enhance the recognition of the profession and practice of marriage and family therapy. Through this video we want to inform the public that marriage and family therapy is a distinct profession, and to dispel the myth that it is a subset of other behavioral healthcare professions. Please share this video to explain the difference MFT brings to therapy. We all know the importance of relationships and how context matters when working with individuals, couples and families. Help us raise awareness about our distinct and instrumental profession.
