Practice Description: I work with families as well as individuals (adults and children). A majority of my practice is focused on providing therapy to children 3 to 12 years of age. In addition I offer PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Training) as an alternative to individual child therapy. PCIT is ideal for children ages 3 to 7 who are considered to be generally disruptive and may also be oppositional and/or aggressive towards parents or peers. Other areas of focus for children as well as adults include: Relationship Issues, Depression, Anxiety, Grief/Loss, ADD/ADHD, Divorce/Co-parenting, Sexual Abuse Recovery, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). To encourage growth, reduce unwanted symptoms, and explore your concerns I view my role as consisting of the following: consultant, teacher, coach, tour guide, patient listener, and one who provides gentle challenge through remaining curious about your experiences. I value and look for the often unacknowledged wisdom and strengths you bring to therapy. And I approach treatment from a holistic perspective including the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of your life experience.

Approved Supervisor: This AAMFT Clinical Fellow is also an Approved Supervisor. The Approved Supervisor designation identifies those professionals who have met the educational, experiential, and supervisory training requirements to supervise marriage and family therapists, for AAMFT Clinical Fellow Membership. Please check with your state and/or provincial licensing board to verify if this AAMFT Approved Supervisor is an acceptable supervisor for your licensing requirements.
