Accreditation is a voluntary process. The purpose of accreditation is to ensure quality in higher education. In the field of marriage and family therapy, the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) reviews and grants
accreditation to programs at a Masters, Doctoral, and Post-Degree levels that meet or exceed COAMFTE Accreditation Standards. Below you will find currently accredited programs only.
