Version 11 Standards of
Accreditation Homepage
A word of thanks
to the Standards Review Committee (SRC) of the Commission.
The committee is comprised of Dr. Volker Thomas, Purdue
University; Dr. Thorana Nelson, Utah State University; Dr.
Kathleen Briggs, Oklahoma State University; Dr. Marlene F.
Watson, Drexel University; Andres Nazario, Gainesville
Family Institute; and Dr. Rona Preli, Fairfield University.
The SRC enthusiastically accepted the challenge of
developing outcome-based standards of accreditation for
Marriage and Family Therapy training programs. The
document that was constructed, Version 11, is the result of
long hours, numerous meetings, dedication to the profession,
and a vision for the future of MFT training. Thank you
to the members of the SRC.
Implementation
Experiences
The Commission would
like to encourage programs to share the various methods used
to implement Version 11 in their own programs.
Pursuant to this end the Commission will maintain a web page
devoted to dissemination of this information. Please
